Tucked away in a funky basement on Earlham Street in Covent Garden is the trendy American bar Earlham Street Clubhouse. The bar (which is already well known for it's American themed cocktails and huge pizzas) is joining forces with The Mac Factory to bring London a mac n’ cheese experience like no other. The Mac Factory’s head chef and founder Graham Bradbury (previously at The Gerkin’s Axe, The Chancery and The Gore Hotel), has made his gourmet mac n’ cheese a hot topic all over London town, with unique flavour combinations including slow confit belly of rare breed pork teamed with wholegrain mustard jus and sauteed wild mushrooms, truffle oil and cepe cream all topped with their signature parmesan and thyme crumble.
For something to quench your thirst, The Earlham Street Clubhouse ‘Soul Shakers’ will be offering a specialist menu of ‘Mac’ inspired cocktails to accompany the food, including the ‘Mac Shack’ (a blend of Appletons, Creme de Cacao Blanc, Wray & Nephew, lime and mango) and ‘Return of the Mac’ (fusing bourbon, Creme de Myrtle, maple syrup, lemon and cranberry). The team will be bringing their East Coast beach club vibes to a lazy Sunday dinner. Plus, be ready to choose some old skool American tunes from the clubhouse jukebox with the ‘secret DJ’ app on your smart phone!
