Club Monaco's pop-up inside Noma

Copenhagen restaurant Noma is hosting a pop-up event with high-end clothing label Club Monaco.

This collaboration comes off a five-week pop-up event that saw chef René Redzepi transplant his kitchen staff in Copenhagen to the Mandarin Oriental in Tokyo. The (Ralph Lauren-owned) brand has launched this pop-up boutique – the first of its kind.

The boutique offers the label’s men’s and women’s collections as well as a curated assortment of goods including vintage items, books (courtesy of New York’s Strand bookstore), woven art installations and yurts shipped in from Brooklyn. Local, artisanal artists, potters and chefs were commissioned to create tableware, cutlery and earthenware specifically for the event.

Swedish barista champions Koppi Kaffe provide coffee and pastries by day before Copenhagen’s own Ved Straden 10 wine bar takes over for the evening - serving cheeses, meats and snacks as well as a selection of Arwen wines, created by chef and Noma owner René Redzepi.

The restaurant is also trying to sell off $3,000 shelving units and $65 pairs of chopsticks following the end of their Japanese pop-up, which concluded February 14.
