With flagship restaurants already in Milan and Rome, the London branch (in Harrods) offers a range of authentic and innovative ways to try the truffle, with the delicacy being a featured ingredient on the menu (diners have the option of adding either fresh black or white truffles), from the starters to desserts, and even in the cocktails. The Harrods restaurant was decorated by Italian architect, Laura Franco (also designed the dining space at both restaurants in Rome and Milan), with prints from the 1500s that showcase the history of the black and white truffle to create an immersive dining experience.
All dishes are exclusively made with Tartufi & Friends products and served with fresh truffles. Signature dishes include Burrata drizzled with truffle honey and fresh truffle and the indulgent Tartufi & Friends Burger, served with foie gras, sweet onion marmalade, truffle mustard and mayonnaise and fresh truffle. Fresh homemade pastas and risottos, salads and tartars are also available, all served with fresh truffle. Even desserts benefit from the addition of the prized tuber, such as Vanilla ice cream with pine nuts, figs and truffle honey.
The lounge also offers truffle products to be purchased separately, including the brand’s limited edition range of extra virgin olive oil with white truffle, truffle infused chocolates, truffle salts, condiments and truffle infused honey.
