Mama Fuego

An all-day and night drinking and dining riverside emporium pairing Australian food styling with Latin American flavours.

Mama Fuego is a series of architecturally designed spaces, inspired by the playfulness and glamour of design in the 1960's and 70's. Featuring a formal restaurant serving up a new take on Australian-style food, a nostalgic milk-bar cafe, a full-service bakery, garden with outdoor parrilla and several unqiuely designed drinking dens including a sunken lounge and 'conversation pit' plus The Triangle Bar with a copper-still gin distillery and tap bar. Like with Abuelo - the owners other place, Mama Fuego specialises in Antipodean food with Latin flavours, made from organic and speciality produce.

Located beside The Tide, an elevated walkway and garden designed by the designers of the NYC High Line and featuring a running track and sculpture walk featuring works by the likes of Damien Hirst.
