The Ivy Asia St. Paul's

Dine on an Asian-inspired menu and contemporary cocktails at this dramatic departure for The Ivy group.

Serial restaurateur Richard Caring is opening his second Ivy Asia site in London - on the former site of Jamie Oliver’s Barbecoa in St Paul’s - following the launch of the concept in Manchester’s Spinningfields, pictured. Opulence and theatrical decor sets the scene from the pink pagoda that greets diners at the entrance to the restaurant’s green onyx floor, gold-gilt ceiling and striking antique gold mirrored bar on the first floor. A collection of antique samurai warriors will watch over diners as they take in the views of St Paul’s Cathedral.

Executive chef Simon Gregory, formerly of Gordon Ramsay Group and the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, takes the helm at the Asian-inspired concept restaurant with an extensive menu with dishes such as miso black cod, avocado and crispy tofu with lime and ginger dressing and salmon fillet teriyaki. The cocktail menu also has an exotic twist.

Signature Dishes

Yellowtail sashimi; and lobster with sansho pepper and shiso leaf butter; dry-aged bone-in ribeye with miso smoked butter and Thai seabass with coriander, lime and chilli and mussels with coconut, galangal and lime.

Signature Drinks

Malaysian Margaritas with tequila, aloe vera juice, coconut cream and lime, and Beijing Slings complete with Wyborowa vodka, Kishinamien Umeshi plum sake, jasmine, vanilla, lime, apple juice and plum bitters.
