The Audley and Mount St. Restaurant by Hauser + Wirth

A 'pub' with rooms by Iwan and Manuela Wirth, the art world's famous couple behind Hauser + Wirth.

Artfarm, the hospitality company founded by the Somerset-based gallerists and art collectors, Iwan and Manuela Wirth, has acquired the lease of The Audley pub on Mayfair’s Mount Street and are transforming the building, which was built in 1888. Architect Luis Laplace, who designed and restored the Roth Bar & Grill and Hauser & Wirth Somerset, is overseeing the interior architecture and restoration of the historic five-storey Grade II-listed building. Spread over five floors, The Audley will offer its guests three distinct spaces: The Audley Public House, a traditional community pub at street level. The first floor will become Mount St. Restaurant, a new destination on the London culinary scene, which then leads to the top three floors housing four beautifully designed spaces, each with its own story and available for private hire.

The food at The Audley will be overseen by British Chef Jamie Shears who has worked with Gordon Ramsay, Chris Galvin, Jason Atherton and was most recently executive chef at CUT, London - Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant at 45 Park Lane.

With successful gallery outposts in New York, Zurich, and London, Hauser & Wirth is one of the most respected names in contemporary art. Other Artfarm properties include Manuela restaurant in Los Angeles, Durslade Farmhouse in Somerset (pictured) and The Fife Arms in Braemar.
