Artfarm, the hospitality company founded by the Somerset-based gallerists and art collectors, Iwan and Manuela Wirth, has acquired the lease of The Audley pub on Mayfair’s Mount Street and are transforming the building, which was built in 1888. Architect Luis Laplace, who designed and restored the Roth Bar & Grill and Hauser & Wirth Somerset, is overseeing the interior architecture and restoration of the historic five-storey Grade II-listed building.
With successful gallery outposts in New York, Zurich, and London, Hauser & Wirth is one of the most respected names in contemporary art. Other Artfarm properties include Manuela restaurant in Los Angeles, Durslade Farmhouse in Somerset (pictured) and The Fife Arms in Braemar.
