The Connaught Grill

One of London’s most celebrated restaurants makes a return to the iconic Mayfair hotel.

Located on the ground floor of the hotel, the intimate 46-seat Connaught Grill is under the direction of internationally renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and sits alongside his eponymous restaurant at the hotel and also Helene Darroze’s excellent two Michelin-starred dining room.

Expect a more contemporary interpretation with a respectful nod to its distinguished heritage as one of the capital’s most celebrated restaurants from 1995 to 2000. As a modern interpretation of a classic grill there's an open kitchen complete with wood-burning grill and rotisserie and extraordinary signature wall panels, tables and chairs made - by Mira Nakashima - bespoke for the space. The menu pays homage to classics from the old Connaught Grill with dishes such as ‘Oeuf en surprise au Connaught’ and 'beef tartare with thick cut chips' as well as the revival of a daily pie and oeuf en surprise au Connaught, served with a twist.
