As with the other outposts, Hutong Dubai serves a sophisticated mix of contemporary Szechuan and Northern Chinese cuisine based on the much-loved restaurant of the same name in Hong Kong and London - there are also branches in New York and Miami. The Dubai venue features an indoor restaurant, a lounge bar, a private terrace and two private dining rooms. The design throughout has been inspired by the border provinces of the Silk Road, as depicted through the intricate details of the hand-crafted sandstone wall, embodying the crossover between the Chinese and Islamic worlds of design.
Hutong cuisine takes its inspiration from the dishes served in the imperial palaces of what was then Peking. The menu incorporates signature dishes from Hong Kong and London as well as dishes created exclusively for the Dubai restaurant. Dine on impressive platters of crisp soft-shell crabs, chili-fueled beef tenderloin ma la style and Peking duck. At lunch dine on hand-crafted dim sum.
