The Miami Woman’s Club by Dave Grutman

Nightlife impresario Dave Grutman is working on plans for a new restaurant at the historic Miami Women’s Club.

Dave Grutman, the founder of LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau Miami Beach and Groot Hospitality, the brand behind Komodo, Papi Steak and Swan restaurants, has filed plans to bring a new multi-level restaurant to Edgewater at the historic Miami Woman’s Club.

The old bayfront building housing the historic Miami Woman's Club was first built in 1930 - by prominent American architect August Geiger - and is being restored under plans approved by the Historic Preservation Board. It also played a lead role in establishing public libraries in Miami. A rooftop lounge and bayfront outdoor dining deck are among the approved plans.
