Thomas's Cafe

Burberry's in-store dining concept...

The heritage luxury brand Burberry has extended its London flagship at 121 Regent Street to include a cafe. Thomas's (named after Thomas Burberry who founded the brand in 1856) offers an “entirely British menu” "new dining concept", described as “something the restaurant and service industry has yet to see”. Serving an all-day menu of British classics, from breakfast to afternoon tea through to Champagne and oysters, Thomas's menu is based on the finest seasonal produce from small farmers and artisan suppliers across Britain. The restaurant (and wine bar) is situated at the Burberry store on Regent Street, with the main entrance to Thomas's on Vigo Street.

Family-run catering company, Rocket Food operates the space, having previously worked for the likes of Mulberry, Hackett and Van Cleef & Arpels, stating that “The partnership with Burberry is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative, new approach to luxury retailing in London". Open Monday to Sunday. Times vary.

Restaurants and cafés have become increasingly popular among luxury brands in recent years. Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Armani and Ralph Lauren have opened restaurants and cafes to make the transition from purely fashion labels to lifestyle brands.
