Em Sherif

Dubai is a melting pot of cuisines from across the globe but one it does particularly well is Lebanese. There are a number of restaurants around the city giving their own spin on the fare, but one of the newest launches, Em Sherif at The Address Downtown Dubai, is worth some extra special attention.

Designed to resemble a grand mansion, the restaurant is opulent yet inviting, with bold colours, mirrors and lighting brightening up the extensive space. A choice of round table, comfy sofa and terrace seating awaits guests, the latter of which boasts striking views over Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Fountain. Adding to the lavish façade, serving staff are dressed up in black tie. Clearly this is a place to see and be seen.

The menu is where the real excitement begins, however. The Founder, well-known Lebanese restauranteur Mireille Hayek, presents a journey through authentic flavours, taking guests through favourites such as tabouleh, hummus and sambousek, to signatures featuring a special twist, including fattoush with aubergine, Bourghol Banadoura and Moudardara cooked on a traditional Manakish wood-burning oven. For a true taste of Lebanon, Em Sherif is the place to go.
