Located within the newly refurbished Page8 hotel - so called because of its address at 8 St Martin’s Place - the restaurant occupies the sixth floor and includes two large external roof terraces overlooking Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. The interiors have been designed with the concept of Shinrin-yoku (nature therapy) with plenty of nods to nature and filled with natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. Expect authentic sushi and modern dishes with Japanese essence - accompanied by interesting wines, sake and cocktails.
Toro tataki with quinoa and pak choi salad; Shime saba oshizushi - seared cured mackerel pressed sushi with ginger, shiso and sesame; Unagi Shirayaki with porcini mushrooms and miso infused spinach puree and Hojicha crème brulee with labckcurrant ice cream.
Omotenashi with Tanqueray 10 Gin, Sakura vermouth, Fernet Branca and grapefruit bitter and the Mono No Aware made with Toki Whisky, Muyu jasmine, wasabi, ginger and LEC soda water.
