Ōkami

Sleek and stylish, this Design District champions Nikkei cuisine (a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian) pulls out all the stops.

Ōkami is a large two-floor venue: a stylish nightclub of a restaurant where tufted sofas, natural stone features are juxtaposed with crystal chandeliers (designed to look like floating jellyfish) and a sleek black granite bar. There's a second story dining room and lounge, private dining balcony and also al fresco patio seating in the Jade courtyard - surrounded by limestone facades and landscaped with lush foliage.

Blending Japanese techniques with Peruvian flavors is Chef Hajime - a third-generation Japanese descendant raised in Peru, where he mastered Peruvian cooking techniques. The menu offers Nikkei classics, including nigiri sushi, sashimi, nigiri and fresh seafood alongside signature dishes such as octopus with potatoe crumble, a wagyu short rib and Misoyaki Black Cod with puffed quinoa.

Signature Dishes

Octopus with potato crumble, panca sauce and edamame puree; a roasted beetroot salad featuring pickled red beets, shiso leaf and ponzu sauce; a wagyu short rib with soy teriyaki, topped with micro cress and Misoyaki Black Cod with puffed quinoa, hajikame and Japanese bayberry.
