The Ivy Asia Chelsea

The Ivy's off-shoot brand The Ivy Asia has opened a second permanent location in London's Chelsea.

The Ivy Asia Chelsea is a spin-off of The Ivy 'collection' which serves a pan-Asian menu in a dramatically glamorous setting - and follows the debut St Pauls’ debut London location. The decadent and theatrical Japanese decor features a luminous green onyx flooring, as well as striking artworks, luxurious Asian fabrics, colourful wallpapers, and antiques throughout. Alongside the main restaurant and bar, there's also a sushi bar seating four guests, as well as a majestic tree designed by Tony Marklew.

Food is in keeping with the theme, with dishes including Ivy staples such as crispy duck salad and tempura prawns, alongside additions including salmon sashimi with spiced yuzu and avocado salsa and Hunan-spiced pork ribs with sesame and coriander. Also available are platters, including The Bonzai, accompanied by assorted vegetable and shiso tempura, steamed yasai dumplings with spiced avocado, cucumber takuan avocado with asparagus maki roll, and truffled teriyaki with shitake and eryngii mushrooms.

Signature Dishes

Salmon aashimi with spiced yuzu and avocado salsa; Hunan-spiced pork ribs with sesame and coriander and Ming Dynasty platter, featuring a selection of sashimi, tuna nigiri, and oscietra caviar, wagyu beef tempura with enoki mushroom, and gold and black truffle sauce.
