The 70-cover, atmospheric cocktail bar and hidden lounge - located underneath the wine and cheese bar, Old Brompton in South Kensington - features a series of interconnected rooms - including a bookable blackjack and poker room and a private dining room. The dimly lit spaces build upon the timeless elegance and glamour of the 1920s with antique mirrors, cocktail cabinets and mismatched furniture.
Award-winning barman and bar owner Steve Pineau has created a cocktail list which reflects the no-gimmicks ethos of the drinks served at that time while Master Sommelier Xavier Rousset has devised an impressive wine championing winemakers from France and Italy. Complementing the drinks list is a selection of 70 different artisanal cheeses and charcuterie.
Isle of Man 1860s - with Aperol, Amaro blend, Cinzano Bianco, tomato juice, celery and peach bitters and the Nocturne 1900s made with Japanese dry gin, dry sake, Earl Grey liquor, lavender syrup, grapefruit juice, plum bitters & sage bitters.
