Hawksmoor Wood Wharf

The undisputed kings of steak have opened this riverside restaurant and bar on a floating pavilion in the docks of Wood Wharf.

The restaurant is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion made from sustainably sourced timber decking and aluminium extracted from hydro sources. The fully floating pavilion has a green roof planted with wildflowers and grasses and primarily powered by energy from Canary Wharf’s Combined Heat and Power network to help lower the impact on the environment.

Set over three levels with a 150-cover restaurant, a 120-cover bar and outdoor space for eating and drinking, it's Hawksmoor’s largest restaurant and there's a terrace with views over the water and the dramatic docklands skyline. The interiors feature a series of banquette seating and round tables as well as corner booths. With a double height ceiling and a sprawling bar the space feels generous and lively, while the hanging pendant lights add a contemporary twist.

Expect carefully-sourced, sustainable beef - everything from a T-bone, to bone-in prime rib. Traditionally British dishes featured include potted beef with bacon and Yorkshires. The cocktails, too, are sure to impress with everything from traditional martinis, to proper Old Fashioneds.

Signature Dishes

Charcoal-roasted oysters with bone marrow, South-West coast halibut with porcini and bone marrow sauce and veal chop with fried oysters and tartar sauce and steaks from traditionally reared cattle, cooked over real charcoal, served with classic sauces.

Signature Drinks

Bellini Moscato with peach, Campari & Moscato; the Mandarin Paloma with Dangerous Don Mezcal, El Tequileno Tequila, mandarin, passion fruit & Champagne and Pecan Godfather with peanut butter bourbon with Oloroso served over a big block of ice.
