The team behind Indian restaurant group Indian-inspired Kricket haved opened their first standalone bar in Soho. Named for the Hindu moon God - the small basement space houses a 23-cover, nine-metre bar with a separate lounge area featuring low tables and sofas. Expect Indian-accented cocktails such as a coconut and jaggery Old Fashioned and a short menu of Indian snacks, including homemade crackers made using leftover rice from the upstairs restaurant.
Gooseberry Chaat Margarita with tequila, triple sec, gooseberry cordial and a touch of chaat masala; and a Pickled Mooli Martini with vodka, dry vermouth, lightly pickled mooli and fennel oil.
