Scott's Richmond

One of London’s landmark restaurants has opened a new neighbourhood restaurant in Richmond.

Scotts opened as an oyster warehouse in 1851, evolving rapidly into a Mayfair mecca for traditional fish, shellfish, meat and seasonal game that we all know today - overseen by Richard Caring's Caprice Holdings Group. The seafood institution and celebrity magnet serves the finest traditional fish and shellfish dishes alongside a variety of meat and seasonal game favourites in an atmosphere of clubby sophistication.

This second restaurant is open by the River Thames in Richmond - close to the Ivy Cafe Richmond - a branch of Caring's spin-off of the iconic West End theatre restaurant. Split between two floors with an elegant ground-floor dining room with a marble-topped champagne and oyster bar taking centre stage. There's also a wood-panelled, richly upholstered first-floor bar and restaurant and a terrace for al-fresco dining.

Eating seafood right by the water.
