A homage to Mexico’s mezcal bars in the heart of London's Marylebone. The lower ground floor of the restaurant is home to a standalone Mexican cocktail bar or mezcaleria which stays open late serving an array of Mexican drinks alongside a short menu of snacks known as antojitos. Intended to have a more relaxed, beachier feel, this space is finished with wooden flooring, cane seats and seagrass pendant lights.
Championing the diversity of Mexican spirits – bar manager, Maxim Schulte (ex-Savoy), crafts unique cocktails infused with wild, seasonal ingredients sourced from the British Isles. There is also a dedicated 'agave' menu featuring a range of different mezcals and tequilas which line the stripped back stone walls. Counter seats up at the bar allow you to watch the talented bar staff as they prepare your drinks.
To accompany the drinks Lastra has designed a series of Mexican-inspired snacks showcasing his interpretation of traditional Mexican street food and delicacies. These include a mushroom adobados taco, a traditional pambazo, and an octopus and kombucha tiradito.
