Bar Crispin

A natural wine bar and restaurant in Soho, from the founders of Spitalfields’ all-day restaurant Crispin.

Just behind the iconic Liberty Store and Carnaby Street - Bar Crispin comprises 20 seats in the main bar/restaurant, 12 in the downstairs ‘Green Room’ room (PDR) and a further 10 on the outside terrace. Bar Crispin has a distinct modernist feel, drawing inspiration from late 70’s / early 1980’s Soho heydays, with an imposing silver zinc bar and bespoke hand-painted light fittings alongside triangle mirrors and zig zag design lines.

Open from early morning until late seven days a week - serving up breakfast pastries and specialty coffee first thing, through lunch service and into the evening where an ever-evolving natural wine list is served along a concise bar menu, offering small plates, bar snacks, cheese and charcuterie, and weekly house specials.

Bar Crispin head chef Brendan Lee joins the team having recently returned to London after several years working in kitchens in the US, including the Michelin-starred ‘Al’s Place’ in San Francisco and ‘Emmer & Rye’ in Austin, Texas. Dishes include: curedd mackerel with tomato, summer herbs & pickled apple and beef tartare with smoked egg yolk & puffed wheat berries.

Signature Dishes

Anchovy & potato focaccia with salsa verde; cured mackerel with tomatoes, summer herbs & pickled apple; Welsh lamb with black lime & green sauce and black garlic ice-cream & dark chocolate tuile.
