Em Sherif - London

Beirut-based restaurant group Em Sherif opens its first European restaurant in Harrods.

Having opened its first branch in Beirut in 2011, Em Sherif is now bringing its world-renowned cuisine to the Harrods flagship store later this year, marking the brand’s debut in Europe. There are currently 12 Em Sherif branches across the Middle East.

The brainchild of Lebanese chef-owner Mireille Hayek - the restaurant - named after her son - has achieved massive success, becoming the crown jewel in Hayek’s empire. Expect an authentic oriental restaurant serving an a la carte menu with highlight dishes including Fattoush salad with pomegranate molasses; wagyu hummus; and a dessert of vanilla-infused milk, nuts and puff pastry, known locally as ‘Em Ali’.

While indulging in the wide variety of mezze and Lebanese dishes, guests are surrounded by Ottoman-inspired mosaics and chandeliers, reminiscent of an old world, Oriental mansion.
