Eyal Shani is one of Tel Aviv's most famous chefs, often described as a founding father of modern Israeli cuisine. Self-taught Chef Shani is now the owner of more than 30 restaurants worldwide. HaSalon has locations in New York City and Ibiza, and serves family-style modern Israeli feasts with his signature avant-garde style and upbeat party atmosphere. Dishes include whole Black Sea bass, and its popular sage-spiced pico noodle.
The nightly-evolving menu and interactive open kitchen sees the dining room transform over the course of an evening. The early seating has all the trappings of a traditional restaurant, but the late seating quickly morphs into a lively party spot - complete with dancing on tables - fueled by plenty of (biodynamic) wine and Israeli club beats.
