Seed Library at One Hundred Shoreditch

A laid back basement bar, created by Ryan “Mr Lyan” Chetiyawardana, with a menu of creative takes on classic drinks.

Ryan Chetiyawardana returns to East London with the opening of Seed Library in the basement of One Hundred Shoreditch. The internationally lauded bartender behind two of the best bars in the world - takes “a lo-fi, analogue approach to bartending” at his latest venue - with classic cocktails built deliberately around alternative flavours and ingredients.

As well the regularly changing cocktail list, Seed Library also be pouring some low-intervention wines and craft beers, alongside seasonal snacks and a rotating selection of guest dishes. The space is decked out in warm orange and red upholstery and wood panelling with a relaxed, neighbourhood feel. 

Open from Wednesdays to Sundays, from 5pm.

Signature Drinks

The sancho leaf martini, where a szechuan leaf is used in place of a lemon twist or an olive; a gin n’ tonic served as a lowball instead of as a classic highball and garnished with perilla seed in lieu of a citrus wedge; and a riff on a Stone Fence with. white rum, perry, and a curry leaf.
