Located next to the original Le Pont de la Tour restaurant, the Bistrot benefits from the same spectacular views over the Thames and Tower Bridge. Housed in the restaurant’s former bar, the space has been inspired by classic French bistros and brasseries - seating 32 diner inside, with a further 24 covers on the terrace.
Executive Chef Tony Fleming has created a menu inspired by regional French classics and the restaurant’s best-loved dishes with a more paired-back approach. Think - pig’s head terrine followed by duck confit served with peas à la française, honey and Madeira. There's also Plats Du Jour such as rabbit parmentier and Ray wing au poivre and a concise and reasonably priced wine list.
Duck confit with peas à la française, honey and Madeira; Morel omelette with fines herbs & petit salad; and Saddleback pork belly with boudin noir and white asparagus and traditional French desserts including tarte au citron and crème caramel.
The Garden of Eden with cardamom infused Tanqueray, Galliano, Cointreau, caramel & ginger ale; Save the Bees with Woodford Reserve, sage syrup & honey; and Midnight Stroll with Bulleit, Campari, Fernet & Cointreau.
