Niwaki

Nestled in the heart of Larvotto, is this seductive Japanese dining destination from owner Samy Sass of the famed Sass Café.

Set across two floors - discover a richly textured space where Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics meet through an emphasis on natural materials creating an overall sense of contemporary luxury. Features include a traditionally designed shōji roof, a pruned Niwaki garden tree as the centerpiece of the main dining room and a dedicated sushi counter made of black Chen Chen wood. 

Expect a sophisticated twist on the traditional Japanese cuisine reflecting Japan’s diverse food offer, using seasonal ingredients often in inventive ways. The large menu ranges from robata to sushi, Kushiyaki dishes, tempura and more. Guests can also enjoy the Japanese bar, adjacent to the restaurant, serving an array of sake and original cocktails made using Japanese ingredients including rare sake, yuzu and shiso. There's also a terrace extending out on Avenue Princesse Grace.
