Dovetale by Tom Sellers at 1 Hotel London

The critically acclaimed chef, of the Michelin-starred Restaurant Story, has opened this new restaurant in Mayfair.

The chef-patron of two Michelin star Restaurant Story in London's Bermondsey has partnered with the 1 hotel group for its first European property. Nestled in the heart of Mayfair, the farm-to-table restaurant (with garden seating) is housed in 1 Hotels’ first European property. The restaurant focuses on seasonal, organic and locally sourced ingredients with dishes cooked over a grill, alongside a raw bar. 

The partnership sees the restaurant "push the boundaries of zero-waste, conscious creativity". Tom learned his craft alongside some of the world’s greatest and most influential chefs, including Thomas Keller and Noma's René Redzepi before opening Restaurant Story. Expect reimagined European classics, showcased through a produce-led a la carte menu.

Same-day made English burrata with Amardo Manni ‘oil of life’ olive oil; day boat caught sole Veronique and Grand marnier soufflé with tonka bean crème anglaise.

Highlights

Two centrepiece Knickerbocker Glory trollies offer the classic nostalgic dessert to guests, made tableside. The Knickerbocker Glories are made with a host of handmade ice-creams and toppings, from raspberry ripple and tutti frutti to birthday cake and mint choc chip.
