Nessa by Tom Cenci

A modern British bistro, in the heart of Soho, from the former Loyal Tavern and Duck and Waffle chef.

A modern British bistro in the heart of Soho from Tom Cenci (Loyal Tavern, Duck and Waffle) and Guy Ivesha, founder of Maslow’s (Mortimer House, Mortimer House Kitchen, Fitzrovia). The 98-cover restaurant sits on the ground floor of the new 1 Warwick members’ house in a renovated 1910 neo-baroque building.

Interiors reference the Edwardian architecture and take inspiration by Vanessa Bell and other creatives of the Bohemian movement. There's a horseshoe counter, lounge seating and plenty of mid-century modern vintage furniture in the bar and lots of brushed oak, marble fixtures and banquette seating in the dining room and alfresco terrace. British chef Cenci is serving a menu of classic dishes that champion seasonality with a contemporary twist.

Signature Dishes

Oysters with hot sauce, crackers and hibiscus mignonette; cheese and onion croquettes with grape husk mustard; celeriac carbonara, confit egg, parmesan breadcrumbs; steak tartare with beef fat Pangratatto, raw egg & charred bread; ox cheek hot pot with confit potatoes and cheese mille-feuille with Baron Bigod and hot honey.
