Dorian

A buzzy modern British bistro from Notting Hill Fish + Meat Shop founder Chris D’Sylva.

Housed on a site that triggers nostalgia in many Notting Hill residents (the space was once Raoul’s and before that, Coins Coffee Store), expect an elegant and stylish wood-panelled room with brass furnishing, marble tables and classic Bentwood bistro chairs and counter seating.

Cooking is done from an open kitchen and wood grill overseen by Head Chef Max Coen (Ikoyi, Kitchen Table). Dishes include John Dory, dry-aged côte de boeuf, oysters, and potato rostis with griolles. The wine list has been put together with help from Keeling Andrew & Co - the wine import business run by the team behind Noble Rot - and the cocktail list includes a fig leaf Negroni by bar manager Ale Villa, who most recently led the drinks offering at Core by Clare Smyth.

Signature Dishes

Potato rösti with crab or girolles and Cornish Yarg; mussels with cucumber and shiso; grilled beetroots and autumn squash; wild sea bass with sauce vierge; and grill plates including John Dory, côte de boeuf, sirloin or pork chop.
