Carlotta

An elegant, laid-back trattoria and Venetian-inspired cocktail bar from the Big Mamma group.

Carlotta, an "intimate" 150-cover trattoria, opening on Marylebone High Street from the same team behind Gloria in Shoreditch, Circolo Popolare in Fitzrovia, Ave Mario in Covent Garden and Jacuzzi (pictured) in Kensington - and features a ruby-red terrace, a long sky lit dining room, a Venetian marble bar and an 80s-style ‘midnight blue velvet paradise’ dining area downstairs.

On the food side, the menu focuses on traditional Neapolitan and Sicilian fare with an American twist and a grill section - a first for the group. Also expect Italian classics like rosé veal tartare, penne alla vodka, and arrosticini lamb skewers - a speciality from Abruzzo. Also expect signature serves such as oversized bottles of Barolo which parade the dining room, strong, well-made cocktails and sparkling Italian wines. In addition to these, Carlotta is also said to feature “a list of the finest whiskies”.
