Endo, whose father and grandfather were sushi masters before him, was born in Yokohama and specialises in the Edomae style, a technique particular to Tokyo. His expertise has made his Michelin-starred flagship restaurant, Endo at The Rotunda, one of London’s most exclusive dining rooms. This restaurant is situated on the building's rooftop, with a 60 seater dining room, a chef’s table, outside terrace and private dining room situated in one of the building’s historical turrets.
Expect to see the Michelin-starred sushi master continue to define his modern Japanese cooking - but with spectacular views across the City of London and Mediterrean influences. Dishes include Cuttlefish Nori Pesto and Elderflower, and Chashu Pork Ramen Ravioli. The menu features his signature nigiri and sashimi, and Endo has designed a bespoke ‘tuna trolley’ so guests may enjoy ‘a tuna experience’, served table-side by one of Endo’s sushi chefs. There's also a ground floor sake bar, which features 28 seats and can be accessed directly from Whitehall Place.
Panoramic views.
Cuttlefish nori pesto and elderflower, chashu pork ramen ravioli and native lobster with fregola.
The restaurant boasts a magnificent roof terrace that leads to arguably the most spectacular private dining room in London, seating up to eight, and situated within one of the grand OWO turrets.
