New Rooftop Destinations - Coming Soon - to London

Drink and dine with spectacular views and discover these new rooftop destinations - with stunning views of London's iconic skyline

Restaurant at One Sloane

Located on a leafy residential street just off Sloane Square, the aptly named One Sloane comprises 30 rooms and suites born out of a partnership between Paris’ legendary hotel Costes and French designer Francois-Joseph Graf. The hotel’s all-day restaurant - housed on the new top floor - takes inspiration by Thomas Jeckyll and James McNeill Whistler’s 19th-century masterpiece, The Peacock Room, and will serve traditional French dishes. Expect panoramic views open across the city skyline, while the restaurant's elegant cupola offers an octagonal space with stunning views across Chelsea. Opening October.

Brooklands

The signature restaurant of The Peninsula London hotel occupies the rooftop space overlooking Hyde Park Corner and the Wellington Arch. Dine on contemporary European cuisine from the Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi who's restaurant at Bibendum is a long-time mecca for fine French dining - in a series of distinctive spaces inspired by the classic eras of British aviation and motorsport. The venue comprises a sleek main dining room with a sweeping outdoor terrace with enchanting views, where an overhead scale model of the iconic Concorde gives diners the sense of being airborne; and an automotive-themed bar whose décor incorporates rare motoring memorabilia and a rotating display of original classic race cars from the Brooklands racetrack and museum. Opening October. Flute Bar

In the 19th century, Broadwick Street was home to a noted flute-maker who inspired the name of the rooftop dining bar that crowns this new Soho hotel. Flute's landscaped wraparound outdoor terrace offers spectacular views over the Soho streets and skyline. Inside, the décor combines cocooned comfort with maximalist glamour - animal-print upholstery, cork walls and mirrored ceilings united by an extravagant palm-frond carpet. From the onyx-topped central bar, Flute's bartenders serve up an ever-changing list of innovative cocktails. Opening October.

Endo at The OWO

A Japanese influenced restaurant led my Michelin-starred chef Endo Kazutoshi. The new restaurant is situated on rooftop of the Grade-II listed Old War Office transformed into the UK’s first Raffles Hotel - with a 60 seater dining room, a chef’s table, outside terrace and private dining room situated in one of the building’s historical turrets. Enjoy panoramic views across St James’s Park, The Mall and onto Buckingham Palace. Opening TBC.

ABar Rooftop

Michelin-starred, Korean-American chef Akira Back, who has 20 restaurants and lounges around the world to his name, is heading up the food and drink offering at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair on Hanover Square - with four different concepts. Alongside the main all-day restaurant, a 14-seater counter restaurant and a cocktail bar - there's a rooftop offering. Expect Asian-influenced cocktails and panoramic views of London's glittering skyline. Opening TBC.

Los Mochis

Located on the 9th floor of 100 Liverpool Street, the restaurant boasts a 3,000 sq ft outdoor terrace with views of the City. The new restaurant - with a stunning outdoor terrace and great views of the City - is Los Mochis’ second location in London following the opening of its highly acclaimed restaurant in Notting Hill last year. Expect more of the same - a Pan-Pacific menu which uniquely blends Mexican and Japanese cuisine and a ‘Tequileria’ featuring a signature cocktail list with one of the largest selections of fine and rare tequilas and mezcals in Europe. Opening TBC.
