Chez Roux (replacing the temporary Good Front Room in Palm Court) presents a unique opportunity to experience Michel Roux’s cooking in London, with menus that showcase historical British classics and traditional French cooking methods, presented in contemporary, refined dishes. Other dishes draw on the original menus presented at Le Gavroche in 1967. Expect dishes such as Welsh rarebit, grilled lobster with garlic butter and fries and “lamb chops reform”, inspired by a classic recipe from the 1830s.
Welsh Rarebit; Lamb Chops Reform - inspired by Alexis Soyer’s classic 1830s recipe, and here consisting of herb-crusted lamb, faggot and Reform sauce; grilled lobster with garlic butter, fries and béarnaise, one of Chef Michel’s all-time favourite dishes.
Alongside the a la carte menu, for an elevated dining experience guests can opt for Michel’s Tasting Menu, featuring six courses of Michel’s favourite dishes, with the option of a wine pairing.
