Blue Collar

Big plates served in a small space at chef Danny Serfer's MiMo eatery.

Tucked inside Biscayne Inn in the ever-growing MiMo District, you'll find chef Danny Serfer's popular hole-in-the-wall, Blue Collar. A small space that's known for serving big plates of New American cuisine, guests at this little diner never have the option of leaving hungry.

Inside the small 70's-looking kitschy interior, a few booths and tables take up most of the space along with a small counter that overlooks the busy kitchen. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide lots of sunlight along with ideal street watching.

Open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, the portions are huge no matter what time you come. Choose from hearty New American dishes that include the signature Duck McMuffin with egg, duck bacon and gouda cheese sandwiched between a Portuguese muffin or Shrimp and Grits made with bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce.

A variety of wines and beers are served but if you're looking for something non-alcoholic, there's Panther Coffee and all-natural sodas to choose from, too.
