The restaurant is the fourth in the portfolio for Juan Santa Cruz, the entrepreneur and acclaimed designer responsible for Buenos Aires’ most successful and sought after venues (Casa Cruz, Isabel and Aldo's) and his first overseas opening.
The London version (took over the site which formerly housed The Clarendon pub) is equally chic and elegant as his BA counterparts with beautiful design set over two floors with a large first floor terrace and an 80-cover restaurant. Designed and built by Juan Santa Cruz (over two years), Casa Cruz offers Argentine and Latin American food and cocktail menu with International and European influences. Plus a wine list of over 200 international bottles.
In addition to international private design projects, the former investment banker, has consulted and designed for Faena Hotels in Argentina, Starwood Capital in Europe and Africa, and designed the men's store for hip brand AY Not Dead in Buenos Aires.
An Argentinian affair
Wild sea bass crudo and artichokes with lemon and olive oil, Charcoal grilled monkfish; and Cajun chicken breast.
The drinks menu features classic cocktails 'done well', and range from Pisco Sours, to Martinis, Negronis, Mojitos and Cairpiroskas.
