Located next to the opulent Raffles Hotel, the contemporary venue caters to the discerning diner and has a restaurant, a lounge and a bar, plus private majlis dining areas. Each space has its own distinctive feel and decor, making it the kind of place you could spend a whole evening moving between each.
The cuisine is Arabic with a modern twist whereby chefs incorporate Middle Eastern elements into dishes in unique ways. Kibbeh, for example, which is usually made with lamb and pine nuts, is instead made with lobster mixed with fresh herbs and avocado labneh. Elsewhere the Slow Cooked Lamb Shank is prepared with garlic, sumac and chickpea puree, while Seared Foie Gras is served with sweet and sour onions, pomegranate and sumac.
