Offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Wolseley quickly became a staple of the London food scene since it first opened in 2003.
Lawrence Keogh (a highly acclaimed chef from the Roast Restaurant, The Avenue, Bluebird and Quo Vadis) is Head Chef, has perfected a wide ranging menu that encompasses both European classics and British favourites. Expect seafood, schnitzels, steaks, salads and an ever changing 'plat du jour', along with a good selection of deserts and ice creams. An Afternoon Tea service is available (from 3 to 6:30pm, and 3:30 to 5:30 on Saturdays) offering sandwiches, fruit scones, pastries, cakes, and a wide choice of teas (for £23.75 per person), or upgrade to The Wolseley Champagne Tea (at £33.50 per person).
The monochrome interior is complemented by Japanese lacquered black wood, chandeliers, and black leather banquette seating, giving the place a sleek and elegant design. Booking is advised, as it can often be hard to get a seat.
