Promising a fluffy dose of 'purr-therapy', this unique cafe brings a concept that's popular in countries like Japan to the UAE for the first time. Visitors can enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a snack in the presence of the venue's resident purring cats who love to be petted and to play.
Ailuromania Cafe has about 12 cats. Some are rescued, like Yoda the Arabian Mau and Bob who the owners nursed back to health after finding him in a bad condition, and all are adorable (if you're a cat person).
While access to the 'cat room' does incur an AED50 fee (making it quite a pricey coffee break), it's a nice treat for cat lovers looking for some feline love.
