Executive (award-winning) Head Chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho is in charge of the kitchen, with a menu composed of classic and contemporary tapas, daily fresh fish and seafood dishes as well as quality wines by the glass and carafe. The restaurant's strength lies in its authenticity and the food ensures that this is considered one of the most engaging Spanish menus in London. Diners can also order from the celebrated seasonal specials board, which changes twice a day.
The seats have become some of the most coveted in London. The no reservations policy coupled with the restaurant's popularity means there is usually a wait - but it's set to be worth it. Prepare to queue, or arrive bang on opening.
Showing no signs of slowing down, this year Sam and Eddie opened another Barrafina (on Adelaide Street) which has been following the tremendous success of the original. Even more recently Barrafina has spread its wings further and opened a new branch on Drury Lane which opened July 2015.
