Quo Vadis

Sam and Eddie Hart (Barrafina, Fino) took over the London institution of Quo Vadis and with celebrated chef Jeremy Lee (Blueprint Cafe) heading the kitchen since 2012, the place has been re-energised and the Soho legend of a restaurant is back.

The iconic building home to Quo Vadis since 1926 was also home to Karl Marx for 5 years (during which he wrote the majority of Das Kapital). The restaurant delivers flawless seasonal British cooking, with a daily changing menu (which even features a daily weather forecast) depending on the produce available to Lee that day. There is a also pie of the day (one of Lee's specialities) and a Theatre Set Menu.

The restaurant delivers a simple and elegant approach in terms of the decor. The trendy off-white colours emphasise the original stained glass windows, with white table cloths, antique distressed mirrors and wonderful weekly flower arrangements topping off the modern and sophisticated style. Quo Vadis recently announced the introduction of a classic Sunday lunch with a particular focus on desserts.
