Perilla is the fine dining pop-up founded by London based Ben Marks (NOMA, The Square) and Matt Emmerson (Polpo, Polpetto). Founded in 2014, Perilla has previously launched a series of sell-out dinner parties at Palm 2 (Hackney) and Platfrom 1 (in Dulwich), and this is their first permanent space - an airy 44-cover (with 14 also served at the bar) on the corner of Newington Green and Green Lanes.
Head Chef Ben creates a 'fine dining without the fuss' menu of playful and experimental seasonal food (often using overlooked produce) that draws on his experience in Michelin-starred kitchens under the guidance of Rene Redzepi and Philip Howard (also an investor). Paired with rare and indigenous grape varieties from a short European wine list an a cocktail menu focused on gin and homemade infusions.
Dinner every Tuesday to Saturday and lunches Fridays to Sundays.
