Aulis

Michelin-starred chef Simon Rogan has opened a high-tech development kitchen and interactive private dining room within Fera at Claridge’s.

Adjacent to the main kitchen, the intimate space is made up of a six-seat kitchen counter that enables U to book individual spots or the table in its entirety to get up close and personal with chefs as they prepare multi-course dinners. Similar to his offering at his acclaimed restaurant L'enclume in Cartmel, Cumbria.

The menus at Aulis (£150 per person; £130 supplement with paired wines) are ever-changing with chefs drawing on inspiration from the seasonal, British ingredients being delivered daily from the UK’s best suppliers and Rogan’s own farm near Cartmel. Fera’s Executive Chef Dan Cox is overseeing the menu with chef Alex Beard (previously at The Waterside Inn) dishing up the dinners - featuring bespoke dishes that are not available on Fera's restaurant menu.

Aulis (named after Finnish chef and artist Aulis Lehtimaki), who used to work alongside Simon Rogan at two-Michelin starred L’Enclume - is open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday. Bookings can be made individually or for up to four guests, or the entire space can be privately reserved for six people.
