Coconut Grove's dining scene has been heating up lately with newcomers like Harry's Pizzeria, Panther's Coffee, and Glass & Vine opening settling in Peacock Park.
Helmed by Local House's chef Giorgio Rapicavoli and Grove Bay Hospitality Group, the new space located in the middle of the park by the bay is focused around nature in its ambiance and cuisine. The setting consists of a roof covered in vines with open windows alongside an open kitchen and stunning bar. There's also a waterfront patio with impressive views and incredible breezes.
As for the food, Rapicavoli stays true to the nature theme offering a menu divided into Garden, Sea and Land categories. And now, there's plenty of new eats to try, such as grilled octopus, beef tartare, and the Mexican-style ‘Aguachile’ fish plate.
Eight new cocktails to sip on include Magic School Bus mixed with cachaça and passion purée, along with Ricky Ricardo made with vodka and raspberry liquor. Craft brews and select wines are also served.
