Artisanal Italian cuisine just found a new home in Dubai's DIFC, at this authentic restaurant helmed by the gastronomic husband-wife duo Annie Féolde and Giorgio Pinchiorri. Bringing the same flair for excellence that earned their Tuscan restaurant three coveted Michelin stars, the new venue has everything - from the ingredients to the fixtures and tableware - coming straight from Italy. Head chef Luca Tresoldi conjures up a tempting selection of dishes, such as a deliciously slow-cooked octopus with homemade olive oil, salt-crusted sea bass, aged Parmesan with seasoned Modena balsamic, and decadent desserts such as a gooey chocolate fondant; delicate cremini; and classic tiramisu.
The modern, elegant interiors done up in understated greys include a show-stopping bar too, boasting one of the city's finest wine collections - the brand has a rich viticulture heritage to live up to, after all - while the friendly and helpful service gives a relaxed tone to the fine dining experience.
The Artisan is open for dinner only.
