Farmacy

Fashionista and entrepreneur Camilla Al-Fayed's vegan-friendly restaurant in Westbourne Grove.

Chairwoman of fashion label Issa and member of the British Fashion Board, Camilla Al-Fayed, has joined with Michelin-trained chef Joan Ricardo Alves to start up a series of 'grab-and-go' outlets around London, with the first Westbourne Grove outpost. The all-healthy menu is void of any chemicals, dairy, refined sugars and additives, and it includes delights such as vegan burgers and ice cream sundaes. Wines are biodynamic and sulphur free, there's 'minimum interferrence' Champagne, and even sake.

Plus, there is an onsite 'Alchemy' bar that serves drinks, utilising a range of medicinal plants (including cannabis oil) and has private booths, a space for functions, yoga classes and book signings. It's open all day (alcohol is served), and Al-Fayed herself promises: “a destination that shares my philosophy that putting nutrition first does not compromise good food and good times”.

Farmacy uses recyclable or compostable packaging, adopts a ‘root to fruit’ philosophy, and ensures food waste is kept to an absolute minimum. All ingredients used are either grown on the farm or sourced from local suppliers, and the restaurant champions biodynamic sustainability, with a fully organic and biodynamic wine offering.
