A spectacular Victorian-era Turkish Bathhouse turned cocktail bar you have to book four weeks in advance, showcasing slow-infused aperitifs.

From Camm & Hooper (the group behind The Banking Hall & Tanner & Co) comes By Appointment Only (or BAO), a cocktail bar situated in a Grade II listed venue, The Victorian Bath House. The detail and timeless beauty of the building have been paired with elegant Victorian inspired ingredients for a modern audience, where ornate decanters infuse spirits in-house to create a range of cocktails (for instance, 'Bottled from the Lost City of Z' is coconut & almond-infused rum with pineapple that's been brewing for about two weeks), or if you fancy you can just dive your hand into an ice bath full of Champagne. 

Other offerings include the likes of plum-infused gin & tonics, lavender & rosemary gin, all chilled and ready for your arrival. They take the same care with the food, offering gin-cured salmon (with crab, and prawns with Bloody Mary mayo) and charcuterie (parma ham, bresaola, salamis, roasted artichokes etc).

As the name suggests, you do need to book. You can reserve a private area for 2-40 guests, Thursday through Saturday. Reserve your spot here from 4 weeks prior to the occasion (2 weeks for Thursday evenings).
