Chuck Burger

The team behind HotBox have opened Chuck Burger, housed in a renovated classic east end London café with a menu inspired by founder Basit Nasim’s travels across America.

The Spitalfields restaurant features several favourites and exclusive new dishes. As well as the classic cheeseburger and bacon cheeseburger is Chuck’s standout signature spicy Devil Burger - a ground 28-day aged chuck steak patty topped with charred jalapenos, American cheese, grilled red onions, sriracha mayo, and topped with a green jalapeno sauce. In addition, there will be brand new burgers such as the Hox-Ox).

Chuck Burgers began as an idea to bring American food back home with a menu that has been developed over years using the freshest British ingredients, but inspired by secret recipes they have prized from their favourite restaurants across the US and previously traded at Street Feast’s Hawker House.

Set in a renovated classic East End London café, Chuck Burger’s design retains the café’s tiled floors and furnished with furniture handmade from reclaimed materials. Tables are original steel tube bases with reclaimed hard wood table tops, while seating is a mixture of wooden benches, vintage recycled chairs and stools.
