After the sell-out success of the pop-up Swingers club (in Shoreditch) - which recently closed, they have re-opened a permanent home in Central London. Housed in a previously unused 16,000 square foot subterranean bunker at the foot of The Gerkin - it doubles its previous golf offering - with two nine-hole courses, a two-storey clubhouse and four bars and street food stalls; including an offering from Pizza Pilgrims and a brand new non-burger concept from Patty & Bun and Le Bab.
Created by Winterwell Festival’s founder Josh Ford – Swingers comprises of a 1920’s style ‘Royal Shoreditch Clubhouse’ and street food diner (with pop-up residences by some of London’s most exciting street food vendors). Think ‘The Great Gatsby’ meets ‘The Legend of Bagger Vance’. The venue opens daily from midday until late and is free to enter, though tickets for golf cost £13 in advance or £15 on the door.
Fore-play, hole in ones
Go for the golf-themed Colin Montgomery - an aged beef patty with streaky bacon, Montgomery cheddar, P&B’s special sauce in a seeded brioche.
