Shoreditch bar and restaurant McQueen is taking it outside with new al fresco terrace, McQueen Outdoor. And heating up inside with The Grill...

Open from midday to 11pm, seven days a week, McQueen Outdoor launches with a menu of signature cocktails, perfect for enjoying in the great outdoors. The new terrace has been designed by McQueen owner and designer Dezzi McCausland, and channels the same sense of rugged 'urban' glamour found in the main venue, with the fully decked area is complimented by exposed brickwork, quilted leather paneling and Chesterfield seating. Exclusively commissioned street art pieces from Belfast artist Visual Waste complete the look alongside images of pop culture icons. 

McQueen's indoor space is worth a visit too. Their newly opened Grill (serving late October) is a brand new steak restaurant, boasting a menu specially created by former Hawksmoor Head Chef, Richard Sandiford. Richard James, who is also ex- Hawksmoor, is Head Chef of the new restaurant. Taking its name from the iconic Hollywood star, The Grill at McQueen takes its cues from across the pond, with diners choosing from an extensive selection of steaks. A strong variety of wines, bourbons and other whiskeys will also be available, with flights of each lining up alongside a list of punchy cocktails.

OUTDOOR: Pop-up Rockadollar, the brainchild of former Hawksmoor head chef Richard Sandiford and events manager Emma Jerrard, is dishing up 'pimped up posh dogs', including the The Magnificent Seven – a pork dog with onglet steak, Dutch chilli, ginger, happy-fried onion, micro coriander, black sesame and kewpie mayo; a hand-made vegetarian option, The Cheese Bullitt – deep-fried Stilton, mozzarella and Red Leicester with leeks, Sriracha mayo, pickles, happy onions and red vein sorrel; and The NOT Dog – pulled pork slathered in yakisoba BBQ sauce, summer slaw, kimchi mayo and pickles.
