Ready to be transported to the land of idyllic islands, shimmering sunsets and picturesque white-washed buildings? Elia restaurant's head chef Poppy will recreate childhood memories of growing up in Crete with a special set menu, highlighting fresh produce and simple techniques, on offer for one night only.
The hearty rustic-style Cretan menu will include authentic speciality dishes you can't find anywhere else such as Wild greens pie; Snails savore; Artichokes, broad beans and potatoes with herbs; Lamb with skioufixta (pasta); Beef stifado with potatoes; and Kataifi with masticha ice cream. Live Greek entertainment is also planned (plate-bashing not guaranteed though!).
The Cretan Festival set menu is priced at AED 190 with soft drinks and AED 349 with alcohol.
